Meet the Superintendent

  • Chad PirtleChad Pirtle has been the Superintendent of Pleasant Grove Independent School District since March 25, 2019. 

    A graduate from Paris High School, Mr. Pirtle served as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, and principal in Liberty Hill ISD before becoming an assistant superintendent. Mr. Pirtle graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce, holds a Master of Education Administration from Texas State University.

    An active member of the Texarkana community, Mr. Pirtle is a 2020 graduate of Leadership Texarkana and a coach for the Pleasant Grove Youth Association (PGYA). Mr. Pirtle and his wife, Emily, have two children, Jack and Ryan, in the district.
